Women often face challenges in accessing timely and accurate legal information, particularly on matters related to family property, personal safety, and fundamental rights. Recognizing this gap, Sysco 180 organized a free legal aid camp in Malad East to empower women with essential legal knowledge and practical guidance. The purpose of the camp was to create awareness, build confidence, and provide a safe platform where women could openly discuss legal concerns and understand the remedies available to them.
1. Objectives of the Camp
Sharing more resources for women to access legal aid. Organizing workshops on navigating family property disputes. Creating awareness about government schemes supporting women's rights. Exploring alternative dispute resolution methods like: Arbitration: a process where a neutral third-party help resolve disputes outside of court. Mediation: a process where a neutral third-party facilitates a mutually acceptable agreement. Building a support network for women to connect and share experiences
